Dirty Honey has released an ambitious video for their track “Another Last Time”, which appears on their self-titled debut album, released last year.
The rolling promo follows several storylines around frontman Marc LaBelle and his co-workers as several characters deal with the toxic elements of their life in a motel. It features actor Derek Phillips from the TV series Friday night lightsactress Christiana Lucas from the 2013 film The last Standas well as TikTok stars Elizabeth Marochok and Emma Jade.
You can watch the video below.
“The lyrics of the song tell the story of a toxic relationship that you can’t get out of, and you keep coming back,” LaBelle said in a statement. “But it’s as much a song about any addiction or compulsion, anything you can’t give up – drugs, money, danger, whatever. Shooting the video the way we did was a real challenge, but I think that when you take on something special like this and succeed, you come out with something really great.
Director Scott Fleishman added: “Each sequence was planned and timed to the second and rehearsed multiple times. Everything had to be in sync…especially when the camera emerged from one of the motel rooms to find Marc on the catwalk singing the lyrics to the song. It took us about 12 hours to shoot this video, and we probably did a total of about 40 takes to get it all right.
Dirty Honey is currently on the Young Guns Tour, a doubleheader alongside Mammoth WVH.
