SBAcoustic will feature acclaimed fingerstyle acoustic guitarist Laurence Juber, at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 24 at SOhO, 1221 State St., Santa Barbara.
Grammy-winning musician, Juber is a solo artist, recording artist, composer and arranger. His playing merges folk, jazz, blues, pop and classical styles, creating a multi-faceted performance.
Juber was a featured lead guitarist with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra in London before establishing himself as a studio musician in the mid-1970s. First recognized internationally as the lead guitarist of Paul McCartney’s Wings, with whom he won a Grammy, Juber has since established himself as a world-renowned guitar virtuoso and artist.
He has recorded over two dozen albums highlighting his unique touch and tone on the acoustic guitar. His latest release is “The Fab 4th”, Juber’s fourth album in an ongoing series of solo guitar arrangements of Beatles songs.
