Hit Songs Artists Now Regret

Britney Spears“Occasionally”

Britney fans may live for nostalgia for her early hits, but she doesn’t always necessarily have the same feelings for her early work.

the Glory the princess of pop teased a particular track she doesn’t like during her Onyx Hotel Tour in 2004, as she was leaving the stage. “I have to go? I haven’t even sung ‘Sometimes’ yet! Oh my God! I never liked that song anyway!” she teased happily.

The Beatles“So be it”

John Lennon wasn’t the biggest fan of one of his band’s most iconic songs, “Let It Be.”

He notoriously had creative differences with his bandmate Paul McCartneyand would have called Paulin the style of “grandmother’s music”.

“I don’t know what he thinks when he writes ‘Let It Be.’ It is Paul. What can you say? Nothing to do with The Beatles. It could have been wings…I think he was inspired by [Simon & Garfunkel‘s] ‘Bridge over troubled waters (sic).’ That’s my feeling, even if I have nothing to rely on. I know he wanted to write a bridge over troubled waters,” he later said.

Gucci Mane“The Gucci Hour”

Gucci Mane don’t think his hit “Gucci Time” is that, well, Gucci.

The rapper made an appearance on The breakfast club shortly after dropping the song with Swizz Beatz from his second album The Call: Georgia’s Most Wanted, and called it the worst song of his career. Although he’s not a fan, the public apparently was: the song went to No. 12 on the US Billboard Rap Songs chart.
