The iconic reality show revolved around Paris Hilton and her best friend Nicole Richie as the couple embraced a very different lifestyle. simple life ran for five seasons. And during the run of the hit series, singer Kesha made an appearance – despite airing long before her breakout music career.
Kesha appeared in “The Simple Life” with Paris Hilton
Kesha appeared in The simple Life Season 3. “Wedding Planner,” the 2005 episode featuring the pop star, centered on Hilton and Richie’s internship while working for a Tennessee wedding planner.
In the episode, Hilton and Richie arrive at Pebe Sebert’s home in Nashville and begin hatching a plan to help Sebert, a single mother, find a potential love partner. Luckily, Sebert is actually Kesha’s mother. As a result, Kesha ended up becoming an integral part of the episode. Ironically, Kesha’s TV debut was years before the launch of her music career. However, in the episode, Sebert opened up about his kids and their love for music.

Kesha, then a young teenager, had not yet become a famous singing sensation when “Wedding Planner” aired. Although she has not yet achieved her fame, her presence on simple life was still widely adopted.
Becoming somewhat of Hilton and Richie’s assistant, Ke$ha escorted various men in and out throughout the episode as the reality TV stars interviewed potential candidates for Sebert. Kesha’s genuine reactions and insider insight made her a definite asset to the process.
Speaking with Entertainment Tonight in 2021, the “TikTok” the singer spoke about her appearance on simple life. “Thank you for embarrassing the s— out of me,” the entertainer laughed. She also joked about her orange hair.

A lot has happened since 2005. But what some might want to know is if Hilton and Kesha stayed in touch after their brief on-screen interactions.
Even though Kesha wasn’t on the set of simple life, she was definitely on her way. While working with Hilton and Richie, Dr. Luke, a well-known music producer, contacted Kesha.
This prompted her to drop out of school and take the leap into music. Thanks to his new relations of simple life, Kesha provided backup vocals for Hilton’s debut album. Kesha even admitted to throwing up in Hilton’s closet at a party, which sounds like a sure sign of friendship. But this is not the case.
“We’re not friends,” Kesha told Us Weekly in 2010. “I have nothing against her. I think she’s really nice, but we’re just very different. She feels the same way about Richie. “We’re from opposite ends of the spectrum,” Kesha continued. “They were both really nice, I just don’t think we’d hook up.”
