Cases and Deaths of Omicron Variants in India Live, Covid-19 Booster Vaccine Registration Latest Update: India has recorded 3,33,533 new coronavirus infections, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases to 3,92,37,264, according to data from the Union Health Ministry updated on Sunday.
Active cases rose to 21,87,205, while the death toll rose to 4,89,409 with 525 new fatalities, according to data updated as of 8 a.m.
Active cases account for 5.57 percent of the total number of infections, while the national COVID-19 cure rate has decreased to 93.18 percent, the ministry said.
An increase of 73,840 cases was recorded in the number of active COVID-19 cases within 24 hours.
