Masked Singer UK clues: Who are Panda, Robobunny, Mushroom, Traffic Cone and Rockhopper?


The Masked Singer UK semi-final is here with five celebrities battling it out for a place in the 2022 final.

Seven celebrities have been revealed so far, from Heather Small as Chandelier in episode one to Michael Owen as Donuts at the end of episode six. You can see the full list of stars who have left the show here.

That leaves Robobuny, Mushroom, Panda, Traffic Cone, and Rockhopper, all hoping to trick judges Davina McCall, Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross, and Mo Gilligan, as well as guest panelist Dame Joan Collins, and secure a spot in the finals.

But ahead of their semi-final performances, which will once again see the stars conceal their identities in a bid to fool viewers and the panel as they sing on stage under a pretense, how many clues from past episodes will you do you remember?

Here’s everything you need to know about Robobuny, Mushroom, Panda, Traffic Cone, and Rockhopper.

Judges’ guesses and fan theories

Will Smith, Toni Braxton, Joe Jonas and Jason Derulo were the judges’ final guesses, however, viewers at home are convinced that Robobunny is Westlife star Mark Feehily.

This was fueled last week when fans were able to scan QR codes located on the celebrity’s costumes or sets in order to find an additional clue.

When scanned, Robobunny read: “My royal barcode is 200019992003”

“QR code scanned on Robobunny.. Westlife did royal variety performance in 1999, 2000, 2003,” one viewer wrote. “Anyone who doesn’t say Mark Feehily is nuts, it’s obviously his voice!”

Other popular guesses on social media include H from Steps, while some even think there are two people in the Robobunny costume.

Who is Mushroom?

  • Clue packs take place in the woods
  • Sweet and carefree.
  • A real fun guy.
  • Likes to start new things and “try new lives”.
  • Reference to the hour of 1:28 and an auctioneers hammer.
  • A mix of accents, including Yorkshire and Irish.
  • “I just wanna bring peace and love man”.
  • The letter W was seen in a bush.
  • Other accessories include chattering teeth and a bottle of milk.
  • “The judges will have to get up a lot earlier and dig a little deeper if they want to catch me.”
  • Perfume bottle called ‘Interest’ by ‘KK’ featured in VT.
  • “I have always been interested in learning and growing from my roots.”
  • Many celebrities have wished them many happy returns on their birthday.

Judges’ guesses and fan theories

Judges’ guesses included Sarah Lancashire, Sheridan Smith and in the latest episode Mo Gilligan guessed Charlotte Church.

It’s a theory that many viewers at home agree with.

One viewer tweeted: “Love Mushroom – fantastic singer, brilliant in the accents and SO fun-gi! Must be Charlotte Church now that the clues back her up!

“Sang at the inauguration of George W Bush, was on Under MILK Wood, JUDGE on Over The Rainbow, hosted a CHAT show.”

Another added: “White Ws on the bushes in Mushroom’s VT… I’m sure Charlotte Church sang in the White House.”

Others have linked the number ‘345997’ to the star.

Last week, one fan tweeted: “Watching #TheMaskedSingerUK and think I figured out who #Mushroom is from those numbers – 345997. On a phone keypad eglwys – Cymraeg am ‘Church’. It MUST be @charlottechurch! Even Mo thinks so!! or maybe I’m exaggerating…”

Another added: ‘Can I just say if you put 345997 in the old fashioned phone (where you click a number multiple times to get a letter) if you put that number in an old fashioned phone , you get eglwys. So go to google translate now and find what eglwys means in English!”

Who is Panda?

  • They also said they were a solitary creature and an introverted extrovert.
  • “Being on the move in the world is second nature to me. From a young age, I have always gone my own way.”
  • “It won’t be the first time I’ve connected with these creatures.”

  • Panda was seen roasting marshmallows with the letters TWDFL written on them
  • The Clue package included a hammer and Panda talked about “building” a career.

Amanda Holden, Billie Piper, Kimberly Wyatt and Cheryl have been suggested on the jury, while popular names at home include Natalie Imbruglia, Alesha Dixon and Lulu.

Judges’ guesses and fan theories

Guesswork among the judges included Alfie Boe, Martin Kemp, Russell Watson and Chris Kamara.

Popular theories on social media include Welsh singer Aled Jones and Welsh actor and comedian Rob Brydon. Alexander Armstrong is also a strong guess with fans.

A confident diviner said: “The Traffic Cone is clearly Aled Jones. It was definitely his voice. He sang at Wimbledon as a child and had a gold record (‘gold-plated childhood’) when he was child.”

Opera singer Russell Watson is also adamant. Traffic Cone is Aled Jones.

Meanwhile, plenty of other guesses point to Gavin & Stacey star Rob.

When asked about The Masked Singer UK on The John Bishop recently, Rob said: “Every Saturday night people think I’m a traffic cone. I haven’t seen that series of them but I guess ‘there’s a traffic cone, and obviously I can’t say if I can, because that would spoil something.

Judges’ guesses and fan theories

Final guesses from the judges include Nicole Scherzinger, Jameila Zara Larsson and Ellie Goulding.

A popular fan suggestion is Destiny’s Child star Michelle Williams.

“Rock Hopper is definitely Michelle Williams from Destiny’s Child! No doubt about it.” one wrote, while another added, “Rockhopper is so Michelle Williams from Destiny’s Child.”

Other guesses include Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts and singer Robyn.

Some think Welsh singer Cerys Matthews could be behind Rockhopper.

The star is best known for being a founding member of Welsh rock band Catatonia.

“Rockhopper is Cerys Matthews,” wrote one viewer, while another added, “Could Rockhopper be Cerys Matthews from Catatonia?
