Lunar Reverie is written, directed and produced by American filmmaker Brett Morgen. Morgen is an Oscar-nominated documentary director, producer, screenwriter and editor. He is best known for having already directed the musical documentaries Say It Loud: A Celebration of Black Music in Americain 2001, and Kurt Cobain: Heck Editing, in 2015, for which he won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing in a Documentary/Nonfiction Program.
