Small-cap warnings: Datamatics zooms in 8%, Trident jumps 4%; Yasho Industries soars 18%

Frontline indices opened in green and are expected to gain weight in Monday’s morning trading session. The BSE SmallCap Index trades in green, but is underperforming BSE Sensex. The BSE SmallCap index is up 0.20% while the BSE Sensex index has gained more than 0.46%.

BASF is the biggest winner in the small cap index, up more than 8 percent while Datamatics is up more than 7 percent. Seamec, Patel Engineering, Tata Investments, Abert David Pharma and Globus Spirits are trading with gains above 5% in Monday’s trading session on an intraday basis.

Eclerx, EPL, Everest Kanto, Oricon Enterprises and Optiemus Infracom are trading with gains of over 3% each.

The textile stocks VIP Clothing and SP Apparels are trading with gains above 1% each.

The stock prices of Future Enterprises, Somany Ceramics, PPAP Automotive, Fineotex Chemical, Moschip Technologies and TVS Srichakra trended down between 2.5% and 9.7%, with Future Enterprises being the worst performing.
