Bayonne lists the Summer Sounds by the Bay 2022 concert series
The 2022 Summer Sounds are scheduled to take place Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. at the Amphitheater on the lower level of DiDomenico Park-16th Street between Avenue A and Newark Bay. The concerts are scheduled on Wednesdays from July 13 to August 17. The following concerts are scheduled:
Super Transam performs the songs of the Eagles, Hall and Oates, Queen, the Doobie Brothers, Paul McCartney and Wings, Peter Frampton, Foreigner, Kiss and Boston among others on July 13. The Winslow Eagles Tribute Band celebrates the music of the Eagles on July 20. Long Live the Beatles, the nation’s longest-running Beatles show, recreates the sights and sounds of The Beatles from 1962 to 1970 on July 27.
AM Gold Yacht Rock, a New York-based tribute band that performs adult-contemporary hit songs from artists including Hall and Oates, Steely Dan, Huey Lewis, Christopher Cross and Lionel Richie on August 3. Lights Out Beach Boys combines the music of The Beach Boys with the fluid movements of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons on August 10. The Amish Outlaws will have surprises of all kinds when one minute they perform the tunes of Johnny Cash to suddenly switch rhythms to Lady Gaga and Dr. Dre before returning to Elvis Presley, Dropkick Murphy’s and theme songs from TV shows. Summer Festival at Liberty State Park
Jersey City’s Summer Fest at Liberty State Park begins Tuesday, July 5 and continues through August 16 every Tuesday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on the LSP South Park Lawn.
The schedule is as follows: reggae band The Brooklyners on July 5, rock ‘n’ roll and blues band The Outcrops on July 12, soul and Motown band Valarie Adams & the Dimension Band on July 19, jazz artist Regina Martin on July 26, the Robin Andre Band on August 9, and funk artist Lil’ Maceo on August 16.
Berry Lane Park Concert Series
The Berry Lane Park concert series in Jersey City runs from July 7 to August 18 from 6-8 p.m. with the following: Jay Watts on July 7, Tru Soul on July 14, Marlena Moniece on July 21, Deep Cova on July 28 , Gentlemen of Soul on August 4, Joe Taino on August 11, and Ricardo Jerome and the Fusion Band on August 18. Berry Lane Park is located at 1000 Garfield Ave., Jersey City.
Summer concerts at Buchmuller Park
The summer concerts at Buchmuller Park in Secaucus take place on the following days as scheduled at 7 p.m.: Beatlemania Again on July 7; The Inferno’s on July 14; The Chicklettes on July 21; ABBA Tribute Band on July 28; the James Taylor Tribute Band known as Hourglass on August 11; The Elegants on August 18; and The Cameos on August 25. Buchmuller Park is located along Plaza Center Drive in Secaucus.
Guttenberg concert series moves
Guttenberg’s 2022 Summer Concert Series kicks off Thursday, June 30 with The Infernos at 71st & Blvd. E. All shows are at 7:00 p.m. and are as follows: Smooth Band Orchestra on Sunday, July 3, at 68th & Park Ave. ; Jersey Four on Thursday, July 7 at 6900 Madison (GSL parking lot); Danny V’s 52nd St. Band on Thursday, July 21, on the waterfront; Finish This and NNO on Tuesday, August 2, at 68th & Park Ave.; Cameos on Thursday, August 4 at 71st & Blvd. E; The Past Masters on Thursday, August 11, on the waterfront; Fabulous Grease Band on Thursday, Aug. 18 at 6900 Madison; Stan Zeka’s Del Satin’s on Thursday, September 1 at 71st & Blvd. E; and La Fuerza Positiva on Thursday, September 22 at 71st & Blvd. E.
