Valleyfair announced its new “Tricks and Treats” Halloween event on Friday, (Valley Fair)
SHAKOPEE, Minnesota (FOX 9) – No more spooky nights at Valleyfair. As announced FridayShakopee Amusement Park will now host more family-friendly Halloween celebrations.
Later this year, Tricks and Treats will debut on September 17 and will be open on select dates until October 30. .”
“From little goblins to adult ghouls, everyone will find spooky things to do for Halloween,” Valleyfair’s announcement reads. “Plus, we’ve got skeletons of delicious seasonal treats, drinks and, of course, candy!”
The new event replaces Halloween Haunt and ValleySCARE, which featured haunted mazes and spooky areas.
It looks like the park will be turned into two different areas with three zones each. When park visitors arrive, they can choose a path to follow between the Land of Tricks or the Land of Treats.
- In the Land of Towers, visitors to the park will be able to explore Icky Ville, Spooky Spiers and Pointe Peculiar.
- In Candy Land, park visitors can explore Everfall, Sweet Tooth Acres and Conjure Creek.
Rides will be open during Tricks and Treats, along with plenty of activities, food, live entertainment and more.
