It ran for three seasons (and 54 episodes) and was created by Bruce Paltrow, who a year later presented the medical comedy “St. Elsewhere”…NBC Sitcom “Late Line”, featuring Al Frankendebuted in 1998. Three of the 19 produced episodes aired on Showtime after NBC pulled it in season two… Two HBO miniseries were released: the Emmy Award-winning “John Adams” in 2008 with Paul Giamatti and Laura Linney; and, david simonalternate universe drama”The Plot Against America“in 2020…Sci-Fi Drama”Kyle XYended its three-season, 43-episode run on ABC Family in 2009. The series starred Matt Dallas as a mysterious scholarly teen who is taken in as an adopted child by a psychologist and his family… FX western drama “Justified, featuring Timothy Olyphantbegan in 2010. It aired for six seasons… Two short-lived dramas debuted: a kidnapping thriller”Crisis” on NBC in 2014 with Dermot Mulroney and Gillian Anderson; and, “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders“, the second procedural spin-off “Criminal mindson CBS in 2016 with Gary Sinis…the complete first season of a coming-of-age comedy-drama”On my blockwas released on Netflix in 2018. 28 episodes across three seasons have been produced so far, with its fourth (and final) season coming at a date to be determined.

Cinema and theatre:
the Academy Award the golden statuette was first called Oscar printed by Sidney Skolsky in 1934… Beware of taking a shower! Alfred Hitchcock classic “Psycho” featuring Anthony Perkins like Norman bates debuted in theaters in 1960. In the opening scene of “Psycho”, Janet Leigh like Marion Crane wears a white bra because Alfred Hitchcock wanted to show her as “angelic”. After taking the money, the next scene has her in a black bra because now she’s done something wrong and wrong. Likewise, before stealing the money, she has a white purse. After stealing the money, her purse is black.

The music:
“(Sitting on) the Dock of the Bay” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1968 and became the first-ever posthumous single to hit No. 1 in the United States. It was sung by Otis Reddingwho had perished in a plane crash a few months earlier…Mariah Carey recorded his famous “MTV Unplugged” concert episode at Kaufman Astoria Studios in New York in 1992. Her most notable performance from this recording was her cover (with guest vocalist Trey Lorenz) from the song The Jackson 5 “I will be there. Carey and Lorenz’s version of “I’ll Be There” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in June 1992.
